Eine Initiative von Helsingin Sanomat:
Jeder darf Verbesserungsvorschläge und Träume äussern, wie denn eine finnische Stadt der Träume (Unelmiesi Kaupunki -- City of Dreams) aussehen sollte. Abstimmen lohnt sich, auch wenn wir bereits die eine oder andere Stadt der Träume haben
Unter Suositummat ehdotukset findet man bereits die Top 10 der Wünsche.
(vorsicht, alles vollgespickt mit Animationen und hängt z.Zt.)

Sch.. Flash, wie gesagt, die Seite ist vollgepumpt damit - typisch Finnisch [img]mad.gif[/img] Textversion gibt es nicht (und ich konnte heut morgen auch nicht rein, zuviel Flash)
Die Hintergründe:
Questionnaire prompts masses of proposals for City of Dreams
The Helsingin Sanomat web-pages entitled The City of Your Dreams that were opened last week have been very popular with online readers. By Monday, there were already over 500 proposals for the improvement of the Greater Helsinki Area and the surrounding municipalities.
The proposals vary from ambitious visions to minor details. While one wants to build a railway line from Helsinki to Tallinn, another wants to have a speed bump installed in his or her home street.
The majority of the suggestions are related to the City of Helsinki, with the basic idea being to brighten up the city centre. On the other hand, there is also room for improvement for example in Kirkkonummi and Järvenpää, where more services and train departures would be needed.
The readers are welcome to hand over their own proposals or to support the existing proposals on the following web address, which will be accessible for another two weeks: omakaupunki.hs.fi/ (in Finnish only).

Es bezieht sich auf den Grossraum Helsinki, vor allem auf das Zentrum, aber auch Järvenpää, Kirkkonummi etc.. Aber es steht nichts im Wege die Ideen weiter zu entwickeln. Es gäbe so einiges zu tun...
